I know its not a holden or ls1 or ls2, but I had to polish my 74 year old father inlaws mini today, it dont get out much so I thought I would show you guys anyway.he has owned it for about 14 years, got a hot little cooper S motor, has a bit of stick too, keeps his heart rate pumpin he reckons, oh yeh you should be able to tell by the gear stick what sort of job he had in his early days, best part I get to drive it back to his place its a fun little thing so I take the long wayhttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p98/blackbettyhsv/ronsbrick004.jpghttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p98/blackbettyhsv/ronsbrick005.jpghttp://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p98/blackbettyhsv/ronsbrick008.jpg

Looks nice. Is it a genuine Clubman S?

Nice clean little unit, I have had a few Minis over the years, bought a brand new Cooper S in 1969. Had another Concours Cooper S in the 80's, and my daughter is still driving my mothers Mini K which she bought new in 1970,
it is 37 years old and still on it's original motor and gearbox. She asked for it when my mum died, it is getting a bit tired body wise but still seems to run ok.
When I gave it to my daughter 12 years ago it only had 11000 miles on it.

boon yeh mate the old boy still has it, he loves nothing more than sitting at the lights with some pimple faced P plater smirkin at him thinkin he's an old fart in a pretty mini only to get embaressed my the mini betting him off the line with some wheel spin, it really makes his day, dug that drive you have going, if I told him he would probably do it himself, it would do the thing good a big run like that, dont know how his brakes would hold up they need a few pumps to stop, disc brakes are about 2 grand apparently that sound right to you,
