When watching my bride reverse 'her' Territory into the garage yesterday - a tight fit between the pillars, it dawned on me the VE might not - fit that is.

I know the VE is about 1855mm wide but that measurement excludes the mirrors. By chance does anyone know the width mirror to mirror please?

Please oh please let it be significantly less that 2400mm:confused: .

Cheers and thanks in advance, Craig

You'll have no problems with the standard width garage door. You need a Hummer or a Lambo to start having dramas.

Sit I have to be real careful with mine, its pretty close IMHO. I have no idea of the mirror to mirror dimensions though.

I also have an FJ 60 cruiser and have less prob with that fitting in than the VE. Maybe its just the different driving positions of the two cars.

I know one thing for sure, its just as well i didn't get a Caprice - no way would i be able to sut the garage door at my place. I'm more than happy with the CalaisV anyway so it don't matter much.

According to the specifications brochure downloadable from the Holden site the width of the Omega (excluding mirrors) is 1899mm.

Interestingly I also just saw that the track on the Omega is 10mm more back and front than the SV6/SS/SSV.

I wondered the same thing before I got mine, but I have about 10cm either side of the mirrors going through a standard width garage door. Don't forget that you can fold the mirrors in, too.
