Hey, I've just been alerted to an issue with my VU, that it is 'dog-legging' up the road, that is the rear wheels aren't tracking the same as the front. Is this a setup of the IRS isssue, or an issue with the wheel alignment only being carried out on the front tyres, when i had them replaced?

sounds like you need 4 wheel alignment. if you have lowered it then you might need to get a camber kit fitted aswell.

The ute isn't lowered, standard ride height.
Didn't realise that only by getting the front 2 wheels aligned it would affect my ute's handling so dramatically! Lesson learned:teach:

Have you had car from new or do you know its full history i.e. did you buy it from someone you knew who had had it from new? If not there's always unfortunately the scary thought that it has been in a major bingle and wasn't fixed properly.

the car has had a local service history, and I have rung the previous owner, and the mechanic the ute went to, both confirming it hasn't been in a bingle. So i'm trusting their word! There is no obvious damage either

Get it fixed sooner rather than later! Or it could cost you heaps.

Its also called crabbing, basically when the car is travelling straiht up the road, its not actually sitting perfectly straight...
