Hi all,
Consider me a novice when it comes to exhausts. What exhaust setup would give me the best kw gains and exhaust note to liven up my GTS coupe? Would the HSV extractors be OK to keep??? Not planning on doing any further mods atm. How much? etc. etc. etc.
Appreciate any ideas and feedback
Cheers

Hey Greg. A cat back exhaust will definately boost your power and give you a better sound. The HSV extractors are ok but of course aftermarket usually provides better gains, but if you not really too worried about a few KWS (seriously like less than 8 at a guess) then I wouldnt worry about changing them.
The best sounding exhaust from reading on here is definately the sureflow 3.5 inch exhaust system. Have a big read in the Sureflow sponsers section to convince you more on how great these systems are..
I think they are about 700 or so in mild steel but not entirely sure.
Also get your cat pipes opened up to 2.5inch. This will help your system flow better and usually reduce drone and provide better power too.

Go see the boys at Mr Muffler in Sumner park. A nice twin 2.5" system would sound great on the GTS. Some nice 4-1's would complete the sound
