I don't think you'll find anything decent this way. Everyone has a different taste when it comes to speakers. Saying 'high quality' means nothing.

Go out to a few car audio stores and have a listen. Find something you like, and we can help you find something that has similar sound characteristics.

I like speakers with a detailed top end. For example:

Boston PRO60's
Boston Z6's
Infinity Kappa PERFECT's
MBQuart Premium
Focal Utopia

You might prefer speakers with more warmth to the sound:

Dynaudio 240GT's
Morel Elate's
Phoenix Gold Elite's

If you prefer a flat, realistic sound:

DLS Iridium's

Or if you aren't after a set of splits that are going to go insanely loud, but wan't something that will be crystal clear, check out:

PHASS Alnico
Eton

Have a wander and a listen, and decide from that. Good luck.

I have a set of Hertz HKS-165 splits in the front of my Monaro. With absolutely no sound deadening, they sound great. The mid base is incredible. They are Italian made, using the old style paper cones (not this plastic rubbish Pioneer, Alpine etc use) and they retail for ONLY $350.

I got mine for $300 from No Limits in Port Melbourne.

If you're not in melb (sorry didn't check) then get on to www(dot)rmaudio(dot)com(dot)au

You will not be disappointed with these.
