By speed limiter I take it you mean the speed alert that beeps when you go over the set speed? If so, press the mode button until you get the speed alert function, then using the arrow buttons to increase the speed limit. If like me you hate the speed alert then hold the set button down for a couple of seconds and turn it off (when in the speed alert function)

go to PT and they can get rid of it whilst tuning it up

These models have a "road speed" limiter, like BMW's and Merc's. He's not talking about a "speed alert".
Your various "edit" programmes are the fix.
Do you just want to remove it so you can tell people you have removed it...???? It's set around 240 or so from memory...

not the over speed limiter, it shuts down round 210kph in 5th or 4th ive had an exhaust, cold air and maf tune by powertorque, but still shuts down. if i dont back off i can keep it 200kph and it will drive fine the engine has only done bout 5k. so still fairly new.

Give the guys @ PT a call and tell them what's happening. They should be able to sort you out, esp if they have already done a Maf tune for you.

Just the utes have all been speed limited to 210km/h (209.2km/h actually) since way back. Apparently it is to stop blowing the tailgate off/open when you dont have a hard cover or soft cover on. If you look back @ 160+ you can see the bars on a soft cover bending the other way!

As said, a tuner can remove it (set it to 412km/h) easy as pie. Surely that will be enough for ya  They will usually do it as part of a tune.
