Hey guys and girls,
im sure this has been done before, time and time again, but these things vary so here goes.

Im after opinions of what to expect, ie : rwkw and 1/4 mile times.
i know some will say this equals that much power, so this is what your mph should be and you will run this time.

im after people with the same set up or close to or tuners who have done these configurations.

I have an m6 02 cv8 monaro
25% udp
otrcai
84 mm bbk t/b
higgins ported polished heads
comp cam 230/230 /112 cam
timing chain d/r
62 lbs injectors
tex clutch
di fillipo 1 7/8 ext
3 in cats
dual 3 in cat back
mafless tune by electronic automotive

this is currently not tuned obviously and i wont be putting slicks on it when i run down the 1/4 as it wont be a regular occurance thanks to my fiancee.:teach:

so what would also be a good idea to run on as i have a set of 20s on atm and i dont think they would be ideal.

any thoughts and in put is greatly appreciated.

cheers, luke

Not tuned? dont think it would be a good idea to run it then mate. Can be a bit of a walking bomb if the engine has not been tuned for the cam yet!
Plus if not already I would get some valve springs in that thing cause the stock ones would be close to not being able to handle that kind of power....

in terms of power I would think in the 280-290 area myself but I am no expert...

Low 12's with proper tuning and a ok launch.... Possible 11's with slicks I would assume....

Nice car bet it will go well!!!

Depending on diff gears you should be closer to a low 12 or high 11

Honestly...you did all this work to it and it hasn't been tuned you lost me...
who did the set up for you....and with that combo..why wouldn't you run semi-comps or slicks...you do want to see what it's best times are or is it biult just as a show pony....it must run like a dog if it hasn't been tuned to sute this set up...put some more money into it and get it done right.
depending on your experience in dragracing you combo should be good for HIGH 11 or a LOW 12..... rwkw 280-300 min.

I reckon 290-300rwkw and a high 12 without slicks around 115-117mph.

this is currently not tuned obviously

I'm confused. Does this just mean the MAF has been "ripped out" with no tune?

With all that work done to your car, get a tune to unlock the full potential of your mods. And improve driveability too :driving:

It's a small investment compared to the other things you have done already.

Ok lets start again, it will be mafless tuned when complete, i am not currently driving this and the work was done at a shop. At the moment it is not tuned, so i was asking WHAT TO EXPECT?:deal:
Sorry for the way it came across, it did sound a little silly didnt it.
thanks so far guys but lets take it from the top.

Luke

ps. forgot to mention it has 918s with titanium retainers also.this is not a show pony either, its a daily driven family car so the need to see its real potential on the 1/4 is not there, hence not requiring slicks.

BTW are you sure you need the 62lb injectors? There are blokes around, me included, running smaller than that with turbos etc.

power - depends on the dyno and corrections etc.

1/4 mile - depends on the driver, track, weather.
