1000's do. It can be good. Your question is almost like "anyone got a car, are they good?" There are heaps of models, configs, setups etc. What exactly are you looking for? Did you search as there is a heap of info here on many types of forced induction and the benefits of each type.

I got a V2-sq, its ok. If I had a choice I wouldnt hesitate for a twin turbo setup instead :)
Still contemplating getting rid of it and gettting twin turbs

dont even waste your time with a S/ TRIM vortech, these s trims are what give vortech there bad name for down low torque, YOU KNOW BLA BLA BLA you here it all the time everyone compares other forced inductions to the pissy S TRIM blower.
if ya gunna go vortech, you want to start no lower than the T/TRIM. good torque with awsome top end.

I have a Vortech V7 on a holden 355 with solid roller cam, made awesome power and torque, highly recommended. I got mine with ceramic bearings for longer life span.

I have a vy calais 3.8 ecotec motor.

mods:
1.9 roller rockers
cooler thermostat
heat shield
ss inductions
exhuast system with extractors
powerchip 98

bilstien soft set up shocks and springs on 19 senator wheels.

im looking at getting a supercharger for the car not sure whether the voretch 9psi kit , or the raptor 9psi kit.

after reading many things it seems the raptor ones seem to be the one to go plus u get the most power out of them.

9 psi vortech expected 225kw non intercooled with tune $4995
9 psi raptor 260kw non i intercooled eith tune $5400

anyone know which one i should go for and which is better and quiter?

Have you thought about selling your V6 and putting $5400 on top to get a V8.

If you want quiet go turbo .

Just my opinion . . .

vyII calais
mods:
1.9 roller rockers
cooler thermostat
heat shield
ss inductions
exhuast system with extractors
powerchip 98
stage 2 shift kit
running best fluids in engine and best fuel.

All other parts of car are stock expect the suspension.
I want bolt on more power without going to the extreme without changing internals etc.
the only option is to get a bolt on S/c 9psi kit, either raptor or voretch which will be ok on stock trans with shidt kit and diff, NO TURBO.

I know 5 grand is a lot and im better off with a v8 but i sont want a v8 i want to own a high powered 6 and then later in life own a high powered 8.

Lately i have heard better things about the raptor working more efficient and giving more power then vortech.,

Which one would u recomended?
