After an awesome trip up to the Rubberfest @ Heathcote park it is now decided that the Twin Plate Clutch from MAL WOOD we have in my 346 unopened ute is the best yet. Just recently we have tubbed the ute putting 10 inch slicks under the guards.
After getting used to the car again , the clutch actually has no slip what so ever even when you side step @ 5800 rpm with a hook up! So good that it broke a drive shaft! Keep in mind the ute had 20 inches of slick on... Its also very good driving from pits to track, i thought being a twin plate that it would be very bitey and a bit annoying but being semi cushoned it gives.
Frank at APS also has one in his Harrop blwn ute and has said the clutch is very daily driver friendly. All round its Highly recommended for street and race.
