yeah after trying to join for several years but for various reasons unable to,i bought Dademon's ex project VY Gen3 Berlina!!:yahoo: now i have a new money pit the games can begin.went & spoke to the boys at power torque today & got some prices.once i get the exhaust on,it will be over to them.going to put some VZ CALAIS rear lights on & some VY series 2 front fog/driving lights & lower grille.also the mandatory lowering will take place along with a change in rims.well i'm off driving now will get some pics up once the mods start.

got a baseline run on the PT dyno today to check the valve springs.186rwkw with the 2.5" dual catback, gts maf pipe,2 hole mod & k&n filter.pretty much what i was hoping for.the run showed a weakness in the springs at about 5800rpm,dropped off noticably.goes in monday for some springs & a mafless tune, looking forward to getting it back!:burnout:
will post up the results.

well i got the springs & mafless tune done today.not quite as much as i hoped but as mark explained the lack of extractors is holding it back a bit.but i knew it would so not totally unexpected.ended with 207rwkw,up from 186rwkw.also an extra 62nm of torque which is really nice.seems much better off the mark & idles nice & smooth.mark said the fuel economy should be a bit better as it was fairly rich.so overall pretty happy.would have liked to have made it to 220 but i might have to change insurance companies & pay a bit more for the privilege.it gives me somewhere to go when the novelty wears off & the urge for more power comes again.heres the printout for those interested.

The car looks good and not a bad outcome with the tuning mate. Just one thing to keep in mind, and like said before, once the power bug bites, you'll want more and more.. Enjoy it :)

well latest mods done .fitted hpc coated extractors, magniflow hi flow cats & had PT do a touch up tune.ended up with 225rwkw & 511nm of torque.for a standard 3.07 diff ratio i was very happy with the result.225rwkw was my goal so i'm pleased i got there.when the novelty wears off i'll look at some diff gears.
