Just got the MRS a VE SSV and she wants a bit a note she reckons.
Made some enquiries on the xforce cat back (sports version) anyone here got one. Want to know how loud they are and there other alternatives.

search for ve exhaust or exhaust sound files and you'll find plenty of sounds there to go through.

They posted the price on there section of the forum.
Not too bad really.
I'm going mild steel twin 3" with 4" metal cats.
I think it was $2400 or there abouts.
I have Xforce on the wrx and I'm not overly happy with it.

Maybe the deflip catback is ok but from the headers I have seen they look pretty ordinary in the finishing department, especially around the welding for the collecters. I have seen a set that had to be rewelded due to leaks, from a top $$$ system this isn't good enough.
The Paccies are a better built set of pipes and a hell of a lot cheaper to boot.

Ive owned 4 ls1s all with aftermarket exhausts.(redbacks difilippo sureflo and now the latest x-force onmy ve ss ute)The 3 inch stainless xforce is easily the best sounding and the best quality out of the 4...I have not yet had my car dynoed but Id say by the look of the bends on this system compared to the others the xforce will out perform aswell.Go the cheaper option and save sum money!!:)

Not sure on how to post a pic for you Millsy but the link below has a pic on it showing the merge

Lamont - post up your dyno results if / when you get your ute tuned for the xforce.

I have a 3" X-Force on my VE R8 and it is loud. I am going to put a couple of stainless hot dogs on it to quieten it down - Dont get me wrong - if you want a V8 Supercar Sound it is pretty good but i got frustrated with the noise after about 200km.

I'd definitely go and see Chev in that case. He has done a few XForce systems (eg Curtis, though his is only 2.5" with XForce blingstractors) and he won't bull$hit you.

i've got a 2.5" xforce system on my vx senator and it fitted perfectly and sounds good as well. As far as quality goes i've seen worse on dearer systems.

Sorry to dissappoint you Sooley, but MclarenF1 is permanently banned
Last we heard, he was in Monaco
Sooley, drop me a PM - I have a 2.5 full xforce stainless steel system on at the moment that I would part with for the right price.
Search on my username to listen and see some pics of it.

Hi all, my first contribution, i was at oran park where i saw and spoke to some brute ute racers who had a street VE SS ute. they had put in a cam, some light head work, pacemaker xtractors, superflo cats, and a tune and was running 480rwhp. I reckon they should know abit about this stuff as they race and work on them all the time, and put that system on their streeter. The stainless 2.5 inch xforce system looked the best and sounded sensational. I have a VE calais v wagon and am about to put a 2.5inch cat back stainless steel xforce system on mine after lots of research, makes the car sound close to v8 supercar.
