I can't beleive it I'm seriously thinking of selling my beast but now I'm  I was looking through the classifieds and noticed a set of 3.46 diff gears for sale and started to think maybe just one last mod and more money before she goes, talk about addictions.

should I or shouldn't I that is the question.

mmmm........roughly how much would it cost to have them fitted.

I can't believe you're thinking about selling the car, so soon after doing mod's.

:stick: What's the point of doing a mod and not owning the car to enjoy it?

I'm started to get into the same boat... all these mods have had a slight negative effect on me. I sometimes wish I had an auto 4 banger to whiz around town in. My left ankle is killing me from sports injuries and that bloody heavy duty clutch doesn't make it any better.

3.46 gears are a waste of time and money (IMHO) unless you know someone who will fit them for virtually nothing. Reckon you're far better off getting a complete 3.46 diff from someone with a manual who is changing to 3.73, 3.91 etc..

That's what I did and it ended up costing me effectively only a few hours labour to have that diff on 2 cars (would have actually been in front if I was still able to do my own labour). Bought the 3.46 on here (15,000km from VYII SS), put it in my first SS then put the original 3.07 back in to sell that car, swapped the 3.46 to my VZ SS and sold it with the car a few months ago (won't fit VE). Recently sold the original 3.07 diff from the VZ for a fraction more than I paid for the 3.46. :D
