Hi Guys
New to the forum and all that.
3 weeks ago I bought my first car - a '00 VTII SS Commy - 1 owner, 90,000kms, stock as a rock, and not a mark on it. I've always loved that model, and I'd finally saved up enough coins to buy one. I've never had a loan before - just always worked/saved my ring off for anything I've ever wanted.

Well they say bad luck comes in 3's...

1. 2 days after owning it I took it back to the dealer complaining of a noise in the rear - they reco'd the diff under warranty and all was sweet. But I'd owned the car for 8 days and it'd been back at the dealer for 6 of them by the time I got it back.

2. Got a nail in the tyre this week - so had to get that repaired.. (OK - no major drama but it was still bad luck)

3. Driving to work yesterday and some a'hole smashes into me from the side. He had a bull bar which has gone into the drivers door and gone through the back door, the rear rim, and through the boot and rear bodykit panel.

Well guess what... I'm devastated. Starting to think that you shouldn't bother having anything nice in Sydney! But, I'm OK and have insurance. I'm hoping it will be fixed asap.

Here's a pic of it the night I bought it home. It's a bit dark but I hadn't gotten around to taking any good pics yet :(

Haha! I love it though! Might be an older ride than some of the awesome cars others drive on here, but this one was mine!

It'll be fixed - the beater said he'll replace both doors & rim, and the rest can be fixed. Wish I had taken more pics of it - I'm telling you this thing was mint!

Anyway, just to add.. I thought the guy was dodgy as so I called the cops (rego & licence almost expired, he had 2 licences which he wouldn't show me both - said it was 'something else', and I thought he was drunk). He was arguing it was my fault (I know it wasn't).. I said not to worry as the cops would be here soon to say who was wrong, at which point he jumped in his car and took off!
