Hey guys,
I need new tyres so I thought might as well ditch the stocko rims and upgrade to something bigger.
I had decided on VZ Monaro CV8Z rims but after looking at pics of V2 Monaro CV8-Rs, I'm starting to like those rims.
What does everything reckon I should go for?
Can get the CV8Zs locally but would need to get CV8-Rs from Payless freighted up.

(Sorry bad pic)
Cheers.

CV8-R's for mine. Sore a silver VY Calais with them on the weekend and they looked great.
Go the CV8-Z's they look fantastic on silver cars;) Our old Silver VY Berlina wgn had them & really suited the silver very well

Both wheels are nice but everybody's got em.
Look for something different that will seperate you from the rest.
Black rims are a possibilty?

It's a Calais Allister, not a Monaro, so please don't put Monaro rims on it (especially those embossed with CV8).
You've got a ride with class, get some classy aftermarket rims to suit.

The VZ CV8 rims were also fitted to the SSV ... so that are not strictly a Monaro wheel. I really like the VZ CV8 rims and I reckon they would suit the VX too.
However, I have to agree with Kris on the CV8 Z embossed wheels, I wouldn't stick these on anything other than an actual CV8 Z.

I agree with xlr8 v8. dont put wheels from one model to another. theres hundreds of styles out there, go for something unique.

Yeah, not really into black rims but I don't mind your rims, VXCal but the style doesn't really do it for me. Looks great on the Calais though.
Kris: I haven't really seen any aftermarket rims that stand out to me. I tend to prefer Holden/HSV rims. I do like the look of your Berlina with the VX Calais International rims but i'm not going to steal your look :)
Do the CV8Z rims have the same finish as the SSZ/CV8 rims (the only difference is the writing right?)?

No CV8-Z rims are Machined faced & the SSZ are not

What about some of the new VE rims such as the 19" SS-V rims that Payless have for VT-VZ?

Looks pretty good on the VY :)
I'm not considering 19" or 20" rims as the price of tyres is just too expensive.
Mike: Yeah, thought the finish looked a bit different. Prefer the CV8Z finish. I've only seen the CV8Zs in real life and not the SSZ/CV8.
