Hey guys
What size would be better for a h/c package. 1" 7/8's or 1" 3/4??
Is there any difference?
Thanks in advance for your reply's.

I'll be interested in this thread as I've just been told my current exhaust is going to be choking my H/C car.

I recommend 1 7/8 but that depends on how big a cam your going, if it's a mid sized cam or small cam go 1 3/4 for extra torque.

I dunno. From what I have gathered. Big cam, big heads or big motor = 1 and 7/8 otherwise 1 and 3/4.

I have DF 4 into 1s 1"7/8 with a baby cam and its gained me more down low and up top.
Get 3" metal cats to make it worthwhile.
I would not have thought it would work like that before i tried it. But it has gone against the usual train of thought.
The key is scavenging. If its happening at the rpm they will help.
The Fast 90mm also gained down low.
