ok here is the story:
went to a certain tyre store this arvo (name may be the same as the brand of tyres) and got two new tyres.
1st problem - they almost forgot to give me back my locknut socket
2nd problem - they reckon I need new front brake pads (after 25000K)!
3rd problem - got home and noticed that the left front tyre should be on the right front and vice versa (directional tyres)
4th problem - went back to the tyre place no more 15 mins later and they had shut down the compressed air so they couldn't swap the tyres until the morning. no worries, won't be going back anyway as I need the brakes fixed and the person who fixes the brakes can swap the wheels.
now for some help please:
- does anyone know of a brake place in Phillip (in the ACT) that will replace the pads tomorrow, given that my SS is salary packaged?
- or do I have to get my friendly holden dealer to replace the pads as the tyre place claims?
