new LX570 revealed at NY Motorshow
http://www.lexus.com/fcv/lx.html?s_ocid=30193
280kw 5.7L V8 0-100 in 7 seconds. Lexus version should also be sold here with the 4.5L twin turbo V8 diesel. Be sure to click on photo gallery, there are 10 exterior pics and 7 interior pics. Kinda has the best of everything really, Audi Q7, BMW X5, Landcruiser, Discovery 3, Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator, but looks more impressive than all of them in every way!

Not too bad.
Although too nice to take off road really.
I'll stick to something less extravagant for a 4 wheel drive.

If I was planning on buying a 4WD (which I'm not) it would be mainly for towing purposes so I couldn't go past a VW Touareg with the 5.0L twin turbo V10 diesel.
I don't mind the specs on the Lexus but don't like the looks.

Go the V10 TD VW!!!..... saw one of these on Fifth Gear pull a Jumbo Jet!!!!!!!!!!!
the new cruiser/LX series of 4wd's are a very long awaited car. the 100 series shape has been around for what, 8 or 9 years now??? thats about the life span of an LC going through the past...
the new one looks good too...
now its just time to release a new LC ute... the old 79 series is getting very dated and far too agricultural

interior looks VERY sexy, that looks like one of the best cockpits to be in.... but the exterior is yuk... wayy to boxy and the rear lights are poo especially with it all so tall and flat back there

Interesting to see the 200 keeps a lot of the 100 proportions. Too me its a bit soft but that is the lexus version I guess.
Not really like a new pajero - more like a fat kluger. Talking about pajeros - Mitsubishi has done a great job with the updated version - I reckon it looks really neat - a huge improvement over the older shape.

Yeah, I like the Pajero as well, and the new Cruiser isn't bad either. But, for some reason, the 4WD/SUV that really does it for me styling wise is...the Volvo XC90.
Oh, and I like the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport too :) Champagne tastes on a beer budget...

Yawn - another big heavy gaz guzzling 4WD ! (although I admit that Landcruiser kicks arse in the 4WD department)
Take the 5.7L out, put it in the Aurion, convert it to RWD, make it sporty to drive and look at, then they would have a winner !
