Check out that bling grill. Plus the long flimsy arial has been replaced with a BMW-like fin :)

I like the fact that it mentions the possibility of additional features in the Caprice, and the possibility of a new, higher level model above the Caprice.

Caprice-V anyone?

of course, this will make sense as Holden has this part of the market to itself (in terms of Aussie built limos).

hmmm... sounding better and better

According to GM-Daewoo, in addition to the Caprice-echoing bi-xenon headlamps and tri-zone automatic temperature controls, the production version of the L4X will feature an integral navigation system with Digital Multimedia Broadcasting (DMB) television, curtain air bags, power rear seats with heating and massage functions, power rear-window curtains, rear roller blinds and reversing camera.

Will be interesting to see what the koreans think of aussie built cars in terms of quality, fit and finish of panel and trim gaps etc. Almost looks like the hydundai granduer.

The code name for this is the w200 and was talked about internally when the G8 was announced...

The first VE pilots (with the checkered black / white camoflage squares) had a shark fin, no idea why they changed it :(

Actually judging from the interior its a prettied up statesman, its not a caprice. No DVD in headreasts, woodgrain on dash and no electrochromatic mirror.

Call me crazy, but I just love the massively blinged up grille...much better than the regular Stato item.

The previous models were also sold in Korea (Statesmans). I saw one on a GM Daewoo display at Incheon Airport over a year ago.

I also saw the Korean version of the Captiva today (I'm presently in Masan, Sth Korea), it's called a Chevrolet Captiva over here (made by Daewoo I think, but has Diesel engine in Korea).

In Korea the Captiva is the Daewoo Windstrom, although it is sold as a Chevrolet in some markets. Must have seen a factory test car.

It shows a classical 'don't care, I know it all" mentality when writing articles.

And a complete ignorance for the various makers and also what implications there are for being an idiot.

Perhaps he did so he'd get noticed!!!!
