Hi All.
Having a few troubles with my pride and joy, I am not one who is a motoring buff, so I do seek opinions from others.
I have had my VP Commodore for 7 years now, always been in good mechanical condition. The past few months I have experienced with the car a sort of labouring "thing" when I am travelling at speeds over 80 kms hr.
To me the car seems to be kicking back and forwards into gear, regardless if I am in 3rd gear or 4th.
I have changed the coil pack in the car, put new leads and plugs in as well. Could this be a Transmission problem? I have not been losing any fluid at all from the transmission, and being honest I have not had the transmission serviced for a long while.
Can anybody please help me out with any suggestions as to what it may be, the mechanic I have taken it to said it was the coil pack and leads etc, I have changed that and the car is still doing what it was before I bought new parts.
Any help is appreciated.
Frustrated.
Daniel
