Hey Fellas,

Was looking over my engine bay tonight, and noticed something on the complience plate, GU4 in the suspension area, now i know my company fitted the roo bar, and country suspension to the car, but what is GU4 actually, e.g mixture between FE2 and the STD suspension? As you can see clearly i have no idea

Thanks fellas, just interested to know what it is for sure

Regards

...simple

GU4 is Holden production code to describe your rear axle fitted on the line
which equals 3.08
and GV4 = 3.36:1
GU8 = 3.90:1
etc etc

you should also see an 'L' code
which describes yr engine
as in L31 = 308
LV2 = 304 etc

and yr transmission code starts with an M
as in M21 or M12 or M40 ..etc etc
