Hi Folks,

Just bought this car :driving: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=71006

Need to lower it, but am unsure if King springs super low are to low?

what have other VY calais owners done? just King low?

Id like the to be on the tyre in the rear not so much at the front

Kings superlows should be perfect! :yup: Makes no diff whether Calais or SS, as long as it's a V8.

These are Pedders 2275 Front Spring and 2641 Rear Springs, I have put a 10mm spacer pad on the rears just to level it out a little, but without the pads the wheels will sit inside the rear guard.

Its low but not too low and the ride is about the same as FE2, good luck in your search mate

Mate i tell you what. I dont think your car has the stock springs in it. He mentioned the car has new shocks, maybe the springs were changed, as it looks lower than stock in the back.

Also superlows are not very low at all. Perfectly legal and drivable. If you want it real low dont even bother with superlows and go straight to ultralows.

Also you have different springs between lows and superlows with kingsprings. The heights go in 1cm increments, so you have alot to choose from.

KHRL-47 at the front and KHRL-46HD at the rear will look and sit good with the LS1. Usually the reccomend the 47HD front but the non HD is better.
