Hey guys.

I was wondering if anybody could tell if there is a problem and what it is as Holden service is closed today.

Its a 05 VZ SS, it has only done 22,000kms but yesterday when i was picking up my VE waiting at the lights it got really loud from the engine bay and the cabin and wheel started making vibration noises. This was the third time it happened. It does not happen regulary but would it be a problem with the car? I will take it to Holden to double check it because its still under New Car Warranty so who cares if there is no problem, but its just very annoying.

It also has only ever happened when the car has been in drive ideling. Any thoughts?

Could be your Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). Might also pay to check that all your air inlet pipes etc are properly secured.

mine (vt 2 SS)used to do something similar to this, although it wasnt loud or anything just a vibration, but i did an LS6 manifold swap and cleaned the shit out of the throttle body and all its parts plus the whole intake system, and theres no noise anymore. so it could be just a dirty sensor or something. another thing it could be is your tailshaft bearing/donut, but i doubt this will happen at idle...
