Spacers??

i noticed on a few car at the ls1 nationals had these spacers on top of the heads.....

from my observation, i would guess that they are spacers to create more cylinder campacity to be able to create more stroke??

Do you mean a spacer under the heads?

Could be a spacer to lower compression for blown / turbo applications....

I think you will find there for rocker clearance to stop the rockers hitting the rocker covers.
