Does any body know if there is a Holden vs Ford show in Perth this year?

The website ( http://www.holdenfordshow.com/ ) doesnt seem to bring anything up under the H vs F banner just a blank page:werd:

Rang the phone number and was told " no we are not doing it this year" ( the whole Holden V Ford show scene), and no, as far as he was aware no-one in W.A. was picking it up either.

W.A is lacking car shows I think or I just never hear about them..

Should start up a thread for each state for carshow dates....what ya reckon guys?

I think they did the superstars list last year to appear at the Motorex this year, dunno any dates, and your right, very small amount of shows, seems to be just cruises happening, not specific car shows. Hate to think of public insurance etc etc, hell even the dyno days here in W.A. and the swap meets at the Motorplex and the Wassma one too.
But not the trusty LS1 cruise hey John!

Noddy, with the orange blown HQ coupe at MV this year, was supposed to be looking into it and talking to the guys over east, said he was gunna put a petition together but I didn't see one.

The only show I can confirm this year is Auto Saloon on the convetion centre website this year...yeah yeah.....

Personally I wouldn't do another HvF show...still waiting on my trophy from last year, as are a few others:cussing:

Another show coming up is Autosalon in July. This is traditionally more an import scene but last year there were a few LS1's...

We had a car show in Busselton last November - about 150 cars turned up from everywhere

It was a fairly hasty set-up , but cars drove for 1000km to be there

I have offered to jump in and help this year , so I will keep you all up to date as to any info

It was well run last year as the main organiser is a mad car enthusiast with a blown HQ , 3 L34 Toranas (one signed by P Brock across the dash) and an EK and a John Goss Special - Did I mention a ford??? nahhh not me
