Hi all. I couldn't find it in the searches, even tho' I know it's been done but,
Just wondering whats involved in fitting the LS1 or LS2/ Auto/6 speed into a VN/VP?
Is there any mechanical engineer that does mounts, etc, and the bottom line...
Is it worth the headaches?

There are a few people that have done it, there is one dude on here who has fitted it to a VP, and there is another on the streetcommo forum that has fitted one to a vn i think, the one on the street commo forum is in adelaide too, i think he is still building it though
Good luck

gday, ive just finished putting an LS1 auto into my VN. You will need a V8 crossmember, engine mounts, gearbox crossmember, starter motor adapter (swaps sides) custom headers, tailshaft aswell as getting your wiring harness modified. Castlemaine Rodshop does the mounts, starter adapter and I think headers to. (I got custom ones made). Id say talk to a mechanic because its a fairly big job. hope this helps.
