Just curious - now that the VE has been out for around 7 months. I know some owners have done a few Klms - anyone at the point where they are trading in their VE (either for a new or different model).

I suspect this may be a bit premature and the thread could be short lived - however - if any are being sold on or traded in - just curious about what sort of prices.

If you aren't going to sell it, then this doesn't bear thinking about. Just drive it and enjoy it, mate.

If you wanted to trade it in, I'd guess a 15% to 20% hit at this stage.

saw an 06 Ignition SS-V- auto, 17000kms passed in at a government auction yesterday for $45k. Not sure what they were expecting for it though. Auctioneer wanted a $48k starting bid!!:weirdo:

From 'REDBOOK' - The prices must vary a bit I had a look a couple of weeks back and they were actually a bit lower, seem to have gone up a few hundred dollars. Not sure how accurate they are.

Those redbook prices are interesting...

The auto was $2000 dearer when new, but is worth $1000-$2000 LESS in the estimated value figures.

Ouch. Glad I've got a M6.

I wouldn't be putting too much faith into redbook etc just yet - they would still have to be using depreciation curves based on VZ so that would be taking the M6 vs A4 into account, not M6 vs A6

True. Also pre-VE the Manual and auto were the same price, so the Auto became the default as opposed to now, it is the other way around.

$31,000 for a car not quite a year old but has done
45,000 klms.. Hmmm I think like not for me..

Have seen a couple of demo models in the paper for
$35,000 drive away. with less than 1500 klms.

I think i would rather spend the extra $4,000...

$31k, you still have to add stamp duty (3%?) to that in NSW to transfer the rego! I believe the 2nd hand market for most cars is way down at the moment

If anyone is interested.

Just been told this car was bought by a Holden dealer.
