Glad that you're happy with the new additions mate. Naturally, Chev has done a fine job once again. The RipShift is a RIPPER undoubtedly.

Cheers,

Macca

The X grip is so grippy its amazing, to the extent I have to let the clutch out slowly or the car lurches forward!

You definitely have to drive the car a bit differently after the install because these clutches are hardcore.

Good to hear.
I recently had my clutch replaced with a Z Grip and had a ripshift put in a few months earlier.........really brings the whole car together and compliments the engine mods.
No excuses for not going out there and attacking it now............

Glad you like it mate. I have dealt with Mal Wood in the past with a Supra 5 speed conversion in a customers HZ wagon. The professional advise and positive approach to business I found was great. The clutch kit (ACE) is an "option" 3, which is a full face lining on both sides of the clutch plate. The feel is nice and light with postive "bite" when taking off from a standing start. With a bleeder mod (no brake fluid in bell housing), new slave cylinder and a complete hydraulic flush, it complemented the fantasic RIP shifter from GM Motorsport. Cheers Chev

Hey mate ,
Glad to hear your clutch is fixed and the rip is in.
How do you find it as a daily driver? Is the rip difficult to everyday drive as in up and down shifts or is it maily designed to quick upshift?
I have driven curtis's rip but only briefly and definantly thinking of fitting one to my ute.
Cheers,
Andy.
