Went to the D1 Drifts at Mallala a couple of weekends ago and snapped a few pics of the LS1 powered cars. Thought some of you may be interested to see them (they were taken with my phone so aren't the greatest..).

The first is a Nissan Silvia running a N/A LS1, the second (an R34 Skyline) some of you may recognise from the Doughboy Autoperformance forum as it runs one of their GenTT setups.

Both cars were awesome and in my opinion totally blow away all of the turbo 4's, 6's & rotas. Its about time the V8's got into the drifting, great to watch!

Cheers.

what is the intake on the s13 i have the 93mm intake pipe but what is the rest of it im curently running the factory maf tune but would b interested in adapting it to a mafless setup without having to go with an otr if it was a setup that could provide sufficient flow at WOT and enough post filter chamber space to accomidate smoth airflow when the throttle is opened suddenly

Cheers Nefarious

a mate of mine looked into this and a LS1 into a S13 silvia, talking to an engineer he said that it is street registable in queensland. It squeezes in with 1CC to spare!!!
