I've used Advantage Suspension in Moorabbin. Nathan there certainly seems to know his stuff and price/service was very good. Very clean workshop and they are into modded cars.

I have always used Centreline in Thomastown. Chris there is always willing to discuss possibilities and he truly enjoys statisfying his customers.

He has done full setups on both my Celica GT4 and my SV8.

I have had experience with all three businesses mentioned in this post. My comments are:

G&D - went there and was recommended Pedders shocks with King springs which seems to go against the advice of almost everyone. Was told I would get a phone call with a quote. Never got a call.

Centerline - Ordered a part (paid in full) and the wrong one came. Chris suggested that he drill holes in my Monaro to make the piece fit. When I said this was not acceptable he refused to refund my money on the incorrect part or change if for another.

Advantage - Nathan does know his stuff and has worked on some amazing cars. I visited him for a quote and he gave good advice and a price. Would not tell me which parts he would use however so made it hard to do research on if his setup/price was a good one.

Conclusion: I have $'s to spend and still looking for somewhere to have a complete suspension setup done. No one I have found yet have come close to the professionalism I would expect to hand over not only a lot of money, but to also leave my car with for a day.

Another vote for Advantage Suspension in Moorabbin. I have had some work done there in the past and no problems whatsoever.

Haze, I've been very happy with G&D. Please read my more comprehensive post here (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=896392#post896392).

I've also had quite a few things done at G&D, including lowering and shocks, and they've always been very good. Haze_V8 - certainly would never have any hesitation re leaving a car with them all day or all week as they will definitely treat it with respect!

Would be very happy to use either Advantage or G&D again depending on which one was handier and cheaper (had originally forgotten that amongst other things G&D had lowered one of my cars - OldTimer's disease :D ).
