While at Supercheap Auto picking up all the bits and pieces I need to clean my baby, I noticed the Meguires Waterless Cleaning Kit.

The guy at the counter reckoned it was good for 3 washes.

Anyone used it yet?

Yep, I read the guide. That's why I was at Supercheap, buying all the cloths, brushes, and chemicals I needed :D

Not here.......

I've spent too long around paint & panel shops and have way too much respect for my cars paintwork to subject it to that treatment.

Had someone in at work the other week with the same product and it did a site job. The old way is better.

going against the tide here but i swear by the stuff, (NXT speed detailer with terry towel) no it doesnt compare to the real thing but when you cant use any water to wash your car its a viable option. it gets rid of dust/dirt/fresh contaminants really easily. dont bother with the waterless kit though, just get a bottle of NXT speed detailer and a terry towel or microfibre. it doesnt scratch at all when used properly (and is much quicker) and is also great for removing water spots ASAP or fresh bird shit etc. when you dont want to (or dont have the time to) wash the whole car properly. which in QLD by the way means going to carlovers or similar, paying to rinse the car in recycled or bore water, filling a bucket with the same water, washing it, and paying to rinse it again. as if you ****ing would. absolute bullshit. but yeah anyway i know its not the best option but its the best without getting a $150 fine and getting the evil eye from the neighbours. as long as you clay, polish and wax regularly i dont think itd do much damage (im not getting a respray any time soon).
