Did a search and could not find anything here, but came across this new one..

That looks awesome! You can forget about going into any carparks or up driveways.
Would be great if you could use the knockoff wheels too..

Why do the skirts fold in and under the car at the front?
Mungrel
25-04-2007, 10:49 PM
If you listen to Channel 7, they scoop out hot air from under the car,
if you read the official technical analysis for 2006 (similar designed skirts) they, like the rr bumper are there predominantly for aesthetic appearances. The main aero components are the front bumper and rear wing.
I like that kit, but u literally could not take it anywhere in geralting.

looks ok in the pics but in real life I'm not so sure.
what makes a V8supercar look good is not only the bodykit, but the ride height and the paint jobs they have.

Looks mean, but you would need to check the front air dam everyday for birds and small animals!

That front scoop would be great for the snow. I could leave the X5 at home this season and take the VE  .

Any one know what the fit and finish is like? As the VE has some of the tightest margins of all models. Would look cheap if it had gaps everywhere.
Excellent looking kit none the less!

do they make a kit that has the same design but but is 2/3 the size ie not as low?

Surely this would be for track day cars only.... It couldn't be legal! You would struggle to get your hand under the front...
Love the look though. Not for me, but it would pull some looks!

wand it would be criminal to drive that on the road.
it also wouldnt pass any pedestrian saftey tests, but im not sure if aftermarket bodykits need to pass those standards

GODDAMN IT
That looks fkn hot.
Can you shop the HSV vents onto the front guards as well>?
EDIT: That rear wing looks stupid, and the way the side skirts tuck in under the car looks downright wierd...but apart from that its pure fap material.

That is god damn sexy.
If I had a VE as a track/project car, that would be the body kit i'd opt for. Utterly fantastic!

Firstly, look at the right hight all ready, its practically sitting on the rims. On Our cars there's at least an inch or room between the wheel arch and the tyre.
And when all else fails drop in some airbag suspension, and it was be PORN.
I WANT ONE :yahoo: :yahoo:
p.s I'm so glad you did the chop in Sting Red, best Colour Holden's have :P:P

love the look and style of the bodykit but you are all right about carparks ,speedhumps and steeper driveways been a no go zone
Not sure how those side skirts work since there is a sill panel in the way!

That skirt only starts half way down the front door... and it sweeps in heaps. Theres no way you can do that on an unmodified VE.

I love that rear bumper though - wonder how integrated it would look matched to a SS body-kit...
