HI all,
well i picked up my new SSV a couple of days ago and yesterday spent most of the day driving, playing with all the gagdets.
was using the sat nav and it works a treat no issues to what others have stated previously.
but the NAV button on the right hand side of the steering does nothing...the phone part of the button works fine and answers the phone but the NAV button doesnt launch the sat nav...only the button on the actual HU launches the sat nav.
any ideas why? does it need to be activated? or are there rules on the system when it activates for use and when it doesnt???
thanks in advance.
regards,
Dean:driving:

G'day and welcome to the club :D
The NAV button will (should) bring up the direction and voice prompt when you have guidance enabled.
I have to voice turned off on my sat nav, so when I push the NAV button during guidance, she tells me what I have to do at that point and the directions come up on the screen between the tacho and steering wheel.
Hope this is of some help :)

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I first got mine, and actually think it would make more sense for it to do that. Originally I thought mine was broken as well but then noticed that it brings up the information in near the speedo. I didn't know that it also made it say the current info, but it has been quite a while since I have played around with it.
On a plus side my new replacement Calais V should be here by mid next week. :yahoo:

Aussiemale: How do you find the Walkinshaw exhaust??
Both in sound quality & Loudness.
Im sure that the build quality would be good..
Have you got a sound file at all???
Cheers Pete

The other little odd thing is that if you have any TRIP info in the center of the dials and press the NAV button on the wheel to get directions in front of you ( Christ,,, everyone is telling me where to go anyway ) and then want the trip info back and hit the trip button, it doesn't take you back to where you were, but instead scrolls to the next trip display. You have to then go thru the whole set of options to get it back. It's not a 'swap' function,,, but it should be.
