Any one going to the Fischer Perf. dyno day this Sat. $20 entry to their dyno shoot out comp. Pretty cheap to see what our car has. Hope to see some of you guys there to show some of these Ricers what a V8 can do.
Fischers is across form Scotty's on Main North Road.

Just did a Google search on the day and found that the Magna Club will be there. (Wonder if the Austin 7 Club is going along too?)
Still do not know what time it will run, anyone know?
Might go along in the afternoon and have a look.

If they are going to run Magnas then we can scrap one Twin Turbo One Tonner heading down...i saw one of those Magna guys the other day while i was up south..his number plate was UNDR8TD....what is underated about them..they are slow...front wheel drive, they may very well be a ripper family car but as a cruiser:spew:

I believe it is an all day event. Mainly for ricers but i thought we could flex some GM muscle and embarass some of those wankers. There will be plenty of promo girls and a show and shine. It'd be good to see the look on the faces of those 4 cyl drivers if some of those TT V8's come along!

Hmm just spoke to Gareth and it seems at least one twin turbo LS1 is getting on the rollers...starting to get interesting now..and the website for the dyno day clearly states that their will be teens in booty shorts:love: (or promo girls as they chose to put it)

It was a shit day and a total waste of time! I was there on the waiting list for 5 hours!!! I kept asking when i was on and i kept getting told i was in the next 5 cars. The guy running the show kept putting cars on that had just rocked up. His attitude was if your not gunna take the trophy why waste his time....but he never once asked what had been done to my car. He just kept loading up silvia's with 140 rwkw and even a ED 4.0 with 123 rwkw on NOS.
Bunch of time wasters!!!
P.S. the winner had 402 rwkw

I did a drive-by at about 11:30am and it didnt look good...im not sure if it was the monsoon like rainfall or the carpark full of rice that did it for me:lmao:
mind you we shouldnt knock people for staging an event...too much of that is why the AIR streetmeets died in the ass

It was a good day, the weather was nasty at times, however there was plenty of room undercover to keep everyone dry.
There were lots of nice cars entered and I did find it interesting
that almost all cars that ran had less than 200 RWkw's.
I didn't take the monaro as I hate cleaning it.
Theo's car (man what a car, awesome Theo well done) was pipped at the post by this mad Cressida that looked
like mums shopping trolley, but as you can see by the dyno sheet, it has one healthy mill under the hood.
The internals are of his motor are standard (so he says).
10 outta 10 for having the ultimate sleeper fella...

I totally agree, I phoned them up before I went over and was told to come over and have a run, drove over from the other side of town (an hours drive each way,) and was told "No Hope!"
and it was packed full of ferral losers with no cars or rice burners.
Total waste of time!

That cressida was at the south coast auto fest down here last weekend, they had a dyno there (if you could call it that, Id call two little boxes on wheels that they took your wheels off and put an adapter on the axles and pushed the boxes back on, i wouldnnt be putting my car on it!) and i never heard what it made but the clutch was slipping badly. Awesome sleeper, Im not sure how it would go about gettin that power to the ground though, stock wheels which werent very wide at all, and what appeared to be stock suspension. Would be nuts to drive, bit of lag, then balls out when boost came on!

That car runs good numbers at the track and full credit to the boys who keep her running i say...i am interested if they only ran the power needed to win or did they ring its neck...either way top effort..the only reason i am interested is my everyday tune and boost level gives me a safe 400+rwkw through an auto....maybe if prize money was on offer i would have bothered but really to sit and wait for a run....please....i just parked my car at home and went and got drunk with the boys:cheers:

I made a mistake... the final results are here...
This is the shootout between the skyline TT-R and the Cressida.
The red and green numbers are Theo's skyline Major wheel spin issue on the green run...
The pink and blue numbers are the Cressida.
cheers

Thats not bad for a second hand stock pistons/rods LS1 with a set of Gen-TTRs on it :)
The blokes with the dyno might be still getting used to it though, as both the Supra/2JZ thing and the LS1 Gen-TTR have both gone 50rwkw more than that on various other rollers...and strapped right it doesnt spin the wheels

Green line was an aborted cressida run. I saw the shootout.
Interesting graph's though.
My observations only. Very nice and smooth red line for the TT-R and sounded very nice (thank you very much).
Cressida does make some serious power but power band is only from 90-120km/h (don't know what rpm's). Looks a bit peaky. (but what would I know anyways). Cressida sounded so stock at idle but ripped to the redline on boost.

BTW It looked like there was boost leaking from the TB on the Skyline. Another person standing next to me also noticed (wearing fraud colours). Didn't do it on the 407kw run though. Martin maybe pass that on to the boys.

I was impressed with it at the nats, it's a genuinely tough car that Cressida, stealth package too.
A credit to the boys screwing it together.
