G'day guys
im startin a project and im wondering if a WH statesman front end bolt onto a VX? i know i'll have to change the bonnet, lights etc, but the only thing that gets me stuck is how do i open the bonnet. the statesman has the clip under the grille, whereas the vx has it above the grille...
also, woould a gen3 with a 6 speed fit straight into the wagon, along with wiring loom etc
any help appreciated

Go onto the www.jhp.com.au site, into the custom ute section & press next right to the next. They will show you a VX Grange front end on a ute.
I hope this helps you out somehow!

A grange front end on a wagon would look very very nice I reckon. I have thought about nti numerous times to give it some more class.
Havent thought about the bonnet - I would simply go to a few yards and compare the statesman/caprice/grange setup compared with standard.

I was thinking ages ago about doing a grange front end on the ute, but never done abything about it.

To fit the statesman / Caprice / Grange front you only need
Bonnet
bonnet catch leaver.
Headlamps ( If you start with a VT you don't need to change )
Bumper bar.
Grille and support bracket.
Fog Lamps and an Auto elec to wire it up.
