I bought this converter on e-bay from Quality Custom Converters. Since its arrival my priorities have changed and I know longer want it. It has never been installed since its remanufacture. Here is what was written on the e-bay add:

"This is a brand new high stall performance lockup torque converter for a 4L60E transmission. built buy Quality Custom Converter .Will also work in early 700units as well. This unit has 30 splines, built with the highest quality parts! Tig welded . TIG WELDING is a method of internal welding that strengthens the entire unit inside. (MUCH BETTER THEN BRAZING)This is a high quality unit built in USA, and has all the high quality features inside that you don't see! Beware of sellers that sell stock poorly refurbished units! Make no mistake this is THE BEST converter, ready for your street machine. The stall has been calibrated to reach between 2600-2800 stall depending on the engine you use. Call Don at Quality Custom Converter with any questions. 1-800-413-7778

1 YEAR WARRANTY"

Here is the link for those of you that want to know what I paid. Please remember these things are very heavy and as such are very expensive to bring in from The States.

Sorry mate, I only just saw this. I don't buy anything on the net with out a lot of research. I asked many questions before I bought it and all the answers seemed legit. If you follow the ebay link I provided and look at the seller's feed back, you will see everyone that has bought a converter from him says they are a quality product.

I'm sure you won't have any problems with it, but if you do , just give it back to me and I will give you back your money.

Let me know what you think?

This Stallie hadn't been sold so I decided to put it in my car. It turns out that this converter won't fit the LS1, only the 5 litre Holden engine. Therefore it has been drastcally reduced again:

$200 pickup only (VR - VT Series1)

It is at RVO in Dandenong so I'm sure Dave will put it in for you too.....
