Hi Guys,
I was wondering about the legalities of having forced induction on a 6 litre cast iron block stroker motor in the pre 6 lt VZ commodores. If i read the QLD Transport regs properly it sounds like FI is ok on the standard motor but not on a motor that originally did not come as an option in that model.
Now with the Gen 3 based 6 litre cast iron block does this count as a motor that does or does not fit the acceptable criteria for forced induction in a VU/VX. I know that most coppers are never gonna pick the difference but in the event of having to put the car into a Dept of Transport Inspection then surely there would be a very good chance of this being identified.
