Are there identifiable differences between a VT Clusbport M6 dash and a VX Clubsport M6 dash. Im needing to identify the model of a dashboard.

There may be a build date sticker/stamp on the back of it somewhere. That is all that I can think of.

Correct Macca....there is a part number on the back with VT or VX and a series of numbers as identifiers....

Pretty easy to tell straight up without numbers. The VX ones are colour coded while the VT's have just got the plain background. Also the speedo and rev numbers are in italics while VT are just plain. In short the VX ones look a little more flashy.

Are you talking about the dashboard itself or the cluster?

The different gauges and windows. The main thing i am after is if they are that different and how they differ to look at.

Main differences are (I have a VX I Clubby and also have the Sales brochure for both Series I and II and Wheels Magazines of the time)
VT : Plain Dash and Grey speedo
VX Series One: Depending on the exterior paint there were 3 different dash surrounds (i Know there was a Bronze and Gunmetal colours, Holden have the selection on their computers) Speedo setup was same as VT. Your local Holden/HSV dealer should easily be able to get the parts or parts #, it was easy for me when I went to replace my scratched dash, I alos changed to a Series II Dash which looked great in my series I
VX Series Two: Dash surround were all Alloy silver in colour and the Speedo surround changed to Midnight Blue and had the writing in Itallics.
Series two also introduced Chrome doorhandles, extra exterior badgework and a Anthracite (black) interior
Hope this helps
