Welcome to the 9-second club

Tim - TUFSS3 - 9.26 @ 153mph. N/A NOS. HIGGINS & HP-F Built, HPF Tune.

Nathan - HIGGINS - 9.48 @ 147mph N/A. HIGGINS Built, HPF Tuned.

Lyle - TTLS1 - 9.89 @ 149.95 mph. HPF TT Kit. HPF Built, HPF Tuned.

The Renegade class which was proudly sponsored by HP-F and was won by Tim’s mighty TUFSS3 getting Nathan over the line with a margin 0f jus .03 of a second. It was the first time the class had run and the only “heads up” class at the meeting. I was not to disappoint with the fastest IRS based cars in Australia racing it out for the prize.

Keep up the good work there lads.

I was going to start a new thread about your recent service, but thought I'd thank-you here for sorting out my idle issues after I put the new throttle body on a couple of weeks back.

As per usual, the service was impeccable.

Also, of course, thanks for the OTRCAI. Combined, they seem to have picked up a bit more poke in the rig, so I'll see how it fares next Saturday.

Cheers,

Macca

i hear you guys are tuning a mates car soon, hes building a 355 stroker in his VN SS with a 280 cam (dont know how that works) n decent heads... Has a blower too not sure if hes puttin it on or not ... how much power do you guys expect from a combo like this? Just a rough estimate would be cool

I had a chat to Paul about this car after a discussion with another member on the forum.... He was only given a few hours to tune this car & no cold start.

Paul wasnt happy himself as he doesnt like cars leaving without the needed time as its his name on the line!

But I heard ya GTS went back to G&D and they fixed it all up after the needed hours on the Dyno! :)

But back to the HPF side of this... My PWR blown GTS was in Paul's hands last week & all I can say is OMG!!! Can that guy tune!!! It doesnt miss a beat & drives like a baby & goes like hell :driving:

Well done Paul & Rob down at HPF :yahoo:

Can't wait to go for a ride in this beast, if it goes as hard as the SV8(R.I.P) it should be quite a weapon.

SV8(R.I.P)

What happened to the SV8? (I went for a run in your SV8 when I was deciding on my F/I route).

Dont believe everything you read Kiwi. Theres a lot more to this than you realise.
Why let a car go out that wasnt right????????????????

Im not Grantly, i have seen it time and time again, workshops tend to blame the person, and not themselves, im not singling out no one or any workshop,

Anyway, im not involving myself in this debate, or accusation, plus Justin MADLS1 stated something, not me

So who are you bagging G&D or Paul. Maybe both sides of the story need to be heard before people start pointing finger.

Not to turn this into a slinging match and not to discredit Paul but its a bit strange how myself and a friend, both of our cars tuned by Paul, both had to travel 350 K's one way to pick the cars up at the end of the day then to drive off and be so unhappy with the work done.

The GTS was down there for two weeks and im not to sure how long the SS was there but both came back to us with the simular problems ( not cold start as mentioned in a previous post ).

If Paul wasen't happy with the tune or the time he had to tune the cars , maybee the cars shouldn't have left the shop.

Yes you are right to say both cars have gone back and tunes have been fixed on both of them not to mention the time off work we had to take to pick the cars up.

Thanks to MATT , GLEN and BRETT at G&D , Gleeso is verry happy and soon when i pick mine up , i hope to be the same .

Cheers Duck..

This is where it all goes wrong... With every performance shop you will always get a few customers who have problems as some cars need to be rushed out the door "some tunes are better than others!"

I have had cars done at both HPF & G&D & both cars went like hell & drove beautiful!

I went from HPF to G&D & now back to HPF.... This isnt because I had a falling out with G&D it's because I got a better deal at HPF for my GTS.

Now sorry to hear about the VY GTS & SS from G&D... But out of all the cars that have been tuned & cars like my SV8 running 12.7 @ 116 on 19's & Chris's SV8 going 10 e.t.c. shows how good G&D are & Paul's work alone

So enough crap talk about this guys :serenade: .... BACK TO HPF STUFF!!! :teach:

cheers
