The question was Twin Turbo setups or a Single Turbo setups, not "whos running a GenT or a GenTT"

There are a lot of single and twin turbo setups in Melbourne.

I would love to hear your knowledge of Melbourne single and twin turbo setups on all of our cars from your South Australian standing? You seem to give an impression that you are biased on your views when it comes to single or twin turbo setups? Several sponsors on this site have turbo kits. There are also custom turbo kits by members, whats the problem?

Ok guys calm down theres plenty of turbo/twin turbo cars of ours and others in Vic. Thats cool.
When it comes to 'kits' (i.e. something you can buy and get shipped in a box) thats a different thing, not too many can do it, but probably not what the original poster was asking. Just put 'turbo' in the search box and you are away and ready to rock!

Hey! Be nice!!:p

To most of us reading about TT's is still pretty exciting!

APS in Merlbourne have been doing twin turbo kits for longer than anyone, long before they were the latest trend.

Give G&D a call, they have done quite a few.

Theyre not sponsors on this site are they? Oh! yes they are, and and been providing kits that have been around for years.

Martin, I have heard and seen fantastic things from your kits, and respect you as a tuner. But there are KITS in Vic and have been for a long time. Many have made great track times and broken records over the past. Your kits are doing very well with track times to back them up but there are also some new ones are making great times aswell, that havent been released yet (like the APS Frankston's single turbo monster i saw at the Nats)

What exactly are you asking? Who personally has a turbo kit in Melbourne or which workshop can supply you with one? Be a bit more clear with your question and include some more details if possible...

From the question I gather he is enquiring:

" I want to find someone who has turbocharged their car so I can A: Go for a drive and see if it is what I want. B: speak to different people running different setups from different workshops C: Find out if they are happy with the setup without the public scrutiny and biased opinion of a certain product/products."

Yes there are a few turbo setups on the market and more than a few shops that can handle them. Trust me when I say I left no stone unturned in my quest for a turbo conversion. His question is straightforward, to the point and was genuine. The slanging match that has broken out is totally off topic.

The question is answered by a yes or no.

HARDLY straightforward or to the point.

Either it was loaded, or about a paragraph too short.

I can answer the question.

Dont know about the slanging match mate, but the question was hardly straightforward. First question comes to mind was " Whats does he drive ?" " Is he looking to buy one or what ?" Those are a couple of questions that I first thought when I first read his post.

My 2c. anyway...

Well said Matt. It appears some people need it spelt out to them and some people seem to understand the questions as they are asked.

Guys dont worry i have installed a device on my laptop that wont let me post if i am pissed,as i was last night....im sure the question the original thread starter asked was a valid one and if i made him feel like crap i apologise...i just felt like stiring trouble, but hey the shit slinging threads always get the most hits so chill out....plenty of good turbo kits around and very good workshops such as G&D.....yes i do have one of Street Tunas kits and i am very happy with it and so are the army of people that have been in and driven my car and after watching the beating Street Tunas turbo kits got at the drift meet we were at today i have even more confidence in the product:thumbsup:

Sorry for stirring up so much trouble! Was just wondering who actually has turbos on their v8 in melbourne so that we could have see what their like. The reason is that were starting a new individually constructed vehicle with a commodore 6 litre v8 but dont know whether to supercharge or turbocharge it. Cheers
