So long as you are prepared to hand over the big $$ there are some
awsome options out there! The AP Racing ones that KPM have look simply awsome.. Probably best to check out some options through some of the forums..

I gave DBA a call early in Feb inquiring about some cross drilled and slotted brake discs to suit my VE SS. They said they will only be avaliable in May/June. I will give them a call tommrow to see if they are manufacturing them yet.
For everyones info here are the part numbers to suite a VE SS (V8 of course):
Front: 42028XS
Rear: 42029XS

Took an SSV for a wrap on Sunday and was not too impressed with the brakes.
Maybe being new and not 'bedded-in''.
How are they once bedded-in?
I've got 330'and 315's on my VX SS and they are just awesome.

I am scared by all these brake threads about the V8 commodores!
As I am about to step into one a VZ SS, and the brakes on my "outgoing" MY02 WRX STI, Brembo's are phenomenal and the best thing about the car, me thinks a brake upgrade on the VZ SS will come sooner rather than later :(

I will have to reserve my judgement on them until I get into one and give it a hiding ;) I am sure they are adequate just not for repeated application such as the twisties.
I am already prepared to be let down on the brakes compared to the STI but hey that is not the reason I am buying the SS :) can't wait! going to check out a 06 VZ SS 6lt tomoz ;)

hmm...brembos VS Holden SS brakes....
hands down brembos.
if your gonna doing track work or going through alot of "twisties" then a brake upgrade is definately something to do.
forum sponsor holmart are selling the HSV genuine brakes for cheap...call em and order a set

Called Bendix today about replacing the standard brake pads with a set of bendix ultimates. Once again, another 2 - 3 week wait!

I checked with PBR a few weeks ago to see if they were doing a Performance pack like I had on my VY. Nothing planned as yet apparently
