VX SS headlight suit VT

Hi,
this is my first post so pls be kind,
I have a VT that had a race style front bumper, which i recently destroyed in a car park (sticks out way too far & has been causing me grief for years, finally killed it on the w/end), anyway i have found a VX SS bumper for sale, but i notice the headlights are different on the VX SS, wondering if anyone knows if the VX SS headlights will fit a VT!

I would assume they would go straight on, iv seen tons of VT converted to VX

Should be a straight swap. I have tried looking for a thread on vt2vx's car as he has swapped his over. It was in a Street Commodore magazine a few years ago.

Yep straight swap using a VX front bar - try to get the SS lights with the black back ground (instead of chrome).

If you are going an aftermarket or original HSV style bar with the angular part around the grille instead of the tear drop you will have to source Berlina/Calais spec lights to suit.

the bumper i am looking @ is a standard VX SS front bumper, with teardrop style headlights, i noticed the VX Calias & a few others have a different style of headlight, looks like it should be a straight swap & yea i found the black style VX headlights on ebay , they seemed to look better than the chrome ones

Thanks again for your help! ~ hopefully when i get rid of my existing bumper it will no longer take me 45 minutes to get out most driveways without sustaining some major scraping! ,,

the ebay ones are the euro style ones ? VX SS had the black background for OEM lights.
