The only way would be if Holden produced an '06 plated Berlina station wagon

Would be rare as rocking horse poop if there were any

I thought Holden dropped all V8 wagons when they also stopped using the GenIII.

G'day Hogs.

Yes, they do exist, as has been mentioned, ONLY 2006 plated Berlinas, so Automatic only.

I saw one 2nd hand and a new one on carsales.com.au a couple of months ago, but none since.

I'd say - at a guess - less than 100 ever made??

Cheers - good luck finding one...my dream car..

Laurie.

I agree with the above - Id love a 6l wagon as they do seem to go a lot better.

I am holding out to see what the VE brings - if it doesnt bring any good v8 news I may have to look for one of these rare beasts!! lol

The prices will be pushed way up due to them being so rare (VY SS wagons are still very high) but you never know you could be in the right place at the right time and pick up a bargain!!

Dang! I thought my VYII SS wagon was a rare beast with only 350 of them made! Now you guys are telling me there was a VZ 6.0 wagon made and they only made 100 of them?
My VY is sweet enough as it is with the mods that I have done to it but I recon the 6.0 would be even sweeter! (not as hot looking as my SS though!)
Oh well it looks like I may have to look into a 383 stroker kit to go with the PT head and cam package I want to get next year!

Evening,

See this is the frustration fellas, fonkin GMH is refusing to make any honest statement in relation to the VE Wagon, the Powertrain etc.

I have a very real fear that what we are going to be stuck with will be some
"SOFTROADER" wanking compromise similar to the Dodge Calibra etc.:cussing:

The sad fact of the matter is that they have us by the curlys, in that the Drk Side do not offer a V8 Wagon in their line up, so what are our options?

Farkin Volvo, SAAB, snotty piss weak Euro make believe shite etc.

I'm not a happy camper and I feel that with the number for Forum Members we should be putting some pressure on the GMH tools!!!

Trouble is there are not too many Wagon enthusiasts unless this thread can generate some interest PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Cheers,

Hogs.

I am about 18 months away from my new ride (end of lease).

Yep the clubby has been great, but the kids are older and the need for a wagon seems a better option.

In the last three weeks, I know of 4 of my buddies (same age) who have traded out of monaros, VX Clubbys, and VY SS's and gone to Ford Territory's, Prados and the like. Im sure if Holden offered a V8 Wagon, they would have jumped at it.

I cannot bring myself to buying crapola like mentioned above.

What can we do to make a VE V8 Wagon a reality?

I will sign for one NOW.

All the equipment has been installed for the VE wagon production. When Holden is ready they will let you know what will be avaliable (eg models, specs , options etc etc).

People seem to forget that companies have a competitive advantage by NOT releasing information too early (and obviously they need to release just enough info not to give the game away but keep their future customers willing to wait and not go out and buy something else).

Unfortunately the wagons are no longer as popular as they used to be 30 years ago, (and V8 / performance wagons even less so).

What can we do to make a VE V8 Wagon a reality?

.

Put in an order and pay full price for several thousand V8 wagons in advance , that will get their attention. ;)

Well good luck, just spotted a wagon that looked like an ss mockup.
Pulled into the caryard to have a look, 03 vyss auto wagon with 20inch chromies on it, standard exhaust but extractors on, completely de badged with aftermarket tail lights-spew, also no climate control. 38990, wheels 2250 extra 55k on the clock.

Same place I bought mine for 3G less a year ago with stainless 2.5 xforce, climate control, manual, same kms, mine is 16 months newer.....and I had all of my badges and original tail lights in place.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Evening,

Hey Dogs, I have already owned a German marque, a 1959 Bug.
Contrary to popular belief it saved my life as a young fella, did not go fast enough to get me in the shite.

I could be wrong, but if I were to purchase a V8 VE 6Litre Wagon for say,
$60k, I would be pissed and amazed if for another $40k in mods I could not blow the !!!! off the German thingy!
:deal:
Cheers,

Hogs,

PS sorry make it $20k!!!
