N/A Nissan SR20 screaming to 9000rpm with 134KW@wheels

^^ This is a project I have been involved with for the last few months, with a mate(Clint) from NZ. Non turbo SR20 2L motor, with Nissan's 'NEO VVL' technology(Nissans version of Hon-duh's VTEC) with aftermarket cams and some other tasty mods. Still has some more power in it as the engine had ignition breakdown above 7000rpm and the fuel tables needs to be optimised.

My old car, a 92 Civic, made 110kw at the fronts with just a dohc 1.6l vtec, 4-2-1 extractors, 2.25" catback, civic type r cams, pod filter and a hondata tune. Honda K20A is where it's at if you want to still play with fwd 4cyl atmos....

K20A is all well and good but the Nissan NEO VVL head has the even better flow potential than the K20A. Clints engine should see 165+Kw@9000rpm with cam specs similiar to the stock K20A. The EG Civic from JDM Yard ran ITB's and other similiar mods to Clints engine(Nissan Bikirom instead of Hondata) but managed 170Kw@wheels with the ITB's. Only problem is that most Nissans are a lot heavier than an EG Civic :(

I miss my SSS :( Had 186kw @ wheels with full straight cut box and lsd and yadda yadda.......trapped in a little SSS pulsar went pretty well :)
