can anyone tell me if this steering rack from a wh statesman will fit my vt ss gen3

It should bolt right in.

If its a variatronic rack then its different internally and you will also need the variatronic pump too.Judging by that Ebay picture it is a variatronic rack-that long wire is the solenoid for it. Not sure if they will work correctly in your SS as the Statesman's and Calais that had them have different programing in the BCM.

Yep he's right. The luxury models had varible rate steering.

why would you want to change it anyhow, unless yours is damaged, doesnt seem to make much sense

yer mate big lose hit a kerb nothing else but the rack is damaged

and its not a little bit damaged its smashed the housing to bits!!

bought it anyways

will let u know how i go for future reference
