Shout box irritating issue

Hey Guys,

I did a quick search in the forum help and feedback section and couldn't find the answer.
Can anyone tell me how do you stop the shoutbox from scrolling automatically down the page??? This is really irritating when I'm trying to read what was said earlier in the day or even in the current conversations. Is there a setting somewhere I can change to stop this from happening? This happens on my work computer as well home.

Guys, you cannot turn this off and the Shout box is not intended to be a live chat service. It does place a significant load on the server and I am considering removing it. It's purpose is to just put shouts out to people not to chat. If you want to chat use irc :) Maybe I will set up an irc server on the forum server just for this ;)
