i am going to paint my car with this paint but when i picked up a sample i think the guy in the shop got it wrong so what i am hoping is that someone here can answer this question is cosmo 970L 2004 any different to the 2007 version

Can't say I'm aware of a VE Cosmo purple like VY.

probably refering to morpheous which is more like the purple on the cadbury cars opposed to cosmo which is a deep purple almost black (or often confused for black)
