HP-F PRESS RELEASE
Thanks to Street Commodores and it’s Community!
It was great to see the HP-F facility come alive with a group of passionate Street Commodore owners. They had all turned out for the Melbourne Street Commodes Dyno day and a sea of Commodores from VK – VE filled the car park and street. 28 off them had turned up to test their vehicle’s power output on the HP-F dyno and the crowd was not to be disappointed.
There was a number of HP-F and customer’s vehicles on display including the wicked TTLS1 drag car, my original TTLS1 Silver Monaro, (The one all our twin turbo kit development was carried out on), the HP-F turbocharged Coupe 4 and one of our latest customer projects a VE GTS with a turbocharged GMPP - LS7.
Thanks to MR C and his turntables the tunes where pumping as the cars proceeded to pump on the dyno. With the dyno air temp sensor hanging on the wall to ensure no “fudged figures” we saw a range of power figures from some tuff commodores with a number of stand outs.
The Yella Terra whipple equipped V6 Ute – BLOW 6 belted out a healthy 278rwkw, Salem’s HP-F tuned GTS had an effortless 539.1rwkw on pump gas, while Nathan Higgins made a Smokey entrance in his HP-F tuned Ute and then put another show on the dyno with a very tuff 447rwkw NA (With a 6000rpm converter). The biggest number of the day went to the HP-F built an tuned BLO 402 with an impressive back to back 1240 + rwhp or 939rwkw in metric numbers on 28psi.
It was great to see everyone and have a chance to show off our new facility; once again thanks to all our customers and we hope everyone had a great time and we do appreciate the positive feedback we received on the day and on the forums. We look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
Cheers
