Ok guys. As the new VE has varying rwkW, what gear are we all going to do dyno power runs that have an A6 transmission? Note real sure on the ratio's but I have been running them in 4th. I reckon if we can all agree on a selected gear, then it gives us half a chance to be relatively even. Thanks.

Also curious, holding the A6 in 4th, is it as simple as selecting it through the tiptronic function and it wont kick down into a lower gear??

1. 4.03
2. 2.06
3. 1.53
4. 1.15
5. 0.85
6. 0.67

Running in 4th with a 1.15 ratio will give an exagerated torque reading, but the RWKW reading still should be close to the final figure as if it was a 1:1 ratio, which is the ideal ratio, but I guess with some of these late model boxes there is not much choice.

Last saturday when Wonky's VE was run up in 4th it made 219rwkw 2 minutes later in 3rd it made 226rwkw, I think. All things being equal the power should have been the same but it wasnt ?, interesting?.
