Multi Function Screen

Hi,

what are people using to clean the multi function screen in the VE SSV, I tried water and a tissue and I ended up with it all smeared.:confused:

Go to an electronics or computer store and purchase a good quality LCD cleaner, got mine from JB Hifi and works really well. You can usually pick up a kit with solution, cloth and duster. Do not use windex or anyhting like that as certain chemicals can damage the screen. Also clean the screen when it is turned of and is cool, I have found this gives better results.

Great thanks Tim, what brand did you get from JB HIFI.

Laser brand, comes with solution, retractable soft brush and microfibre cloth all in a blue pouch. There is probably better cleaners around but this stuff works pretty well, have been using it on my LCD tv for about a year and the screen is perfect.

Be careful not to use anything that has got ammonia in it as it will cause the screen to go hazey and ruin it

If anyone's interested I also spent $8.99 and purchased the "laser Brand" from JB Hi-Fi and it works a treat. Screen looks awesome and bright...

I use Armourall tinted window cleaner for cleaning LCDs...
