Exhaust query

Can anyone tell me what the advantage of puttin a VZ exhaust on a VY , Reason i ask is gettin mine done and the mechanic saya its a VZ . Was on the car when i purched it.

Its and exhaust mob in town and said its a VZ and there havin a hell of atime gettin the manifolds off. Other than that i have no idea.

vy2 had the cats up the top as well, just under the manifolds

sounds like ur mechanic is mate, noone would go to all that trouble to replace a system with a standard system.
Mine is 04 so the cats were up in engine bay, 03 are under the car.
